Artistic elegance on the ramp
Recently, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour unveiled a new face of fashion in its
15th edition. Designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla curated a breathtaking experience, as an ode to the unifying power of fashion and its ability to transcend borders. Actor Sara
Ali Khan looked spectacular as she walked the ramp in a masterpiece created by the designer duo.
This year, the tour which came with a path-breaking format, had designer Ashish Soni as the curator-in-chief, and an exclusive collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). The tour created a universe of pride through its three themes – Craft, Blend and Identity.
The tour included three segments — the Collection Gallery, The Showcase and Style Forum, each of which celebrated a whole new facet of fashion.
While the Collection
Gallery included over 80 famous designers, the Showcase presented the work of winning designer Ikshit Pande, whose collection was defined by commitment to innovation, experimentation and crafting of evocative pieces of fashion.
Kartik Mohindra, chief marketing officer, Pernod Ricard India, said, “In its 15th year of spearheading fashion in India, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour has moved beyond conventional shows to become a celebration of a newly envisioned idea of fashion. The tour aims to enhance the appeal for the youth and set the tone for innovation.”
He also added,“The journey of pride that the brand undertook last year, continued to take center stage this year as well. We are thrilled to collaborate with FDCI in this landmark year, to take the property to new heights, together with designers and artists from India.”
