- Navneet Vyasan ■ navneet.vyasan@htlive.com

Actor Nehha Pendse Bayas might be completely engrossed in her work at the moment, but when it comes to reading, she doesn’t miss out on self-help books, mythological fantasies, biographies and inspirational stories. Here’s a peek-a-boo into her bookshelf:

Which was the best book you’ve read so far?

Laws of The Spirit World by Khorshed Bhavnagri changed my life.

Which books are currently on your reading list?

Currently, I’m concentrating on all the Oscar-winning movies. I’m not reading much.

Which genres do you enjoy reading? Which do you avoid? I like self help, mythological fantasy or biographies and inspirational books. I avoid romantic, suspense or thrillers, as I prefer visual medium for the same.

Which book do you think everyone should read at least once?

That will have to be Laws Of The Spirit World again.

What do you like to read when you travel?

Self-help books. But these days, my preference has shifted to digital platforms.

Which is your favourite fairytale or folk story?

I liked the Twilight by Stephanie Mayer and the Shiva Trilogy by Amish.

What kind of reader were you as a child? Which childhood stories have stayed with you?

I wasn’t much of a reader during my growing up years as I was too busy working.

If you had to name one book that made you who you are today, which one would it be?

Every biography or inspirational story has contributed in making me understand that there is no short cut to anything in life...be it success or relationship.

Which author would you choose to write your life story?

He is no author, but I know that my friend and director Nikhil Mahajan will do absolute justice!
