An ambidextrous, Karan S Grover to exhibit his art for the first time
Taking a break from their busy shooting schedules, we often see actors dabble with different art forms given their bent of mind. However, in Karan Singh Grover’s case, it gets pretty interesting, for the actor is an ambidextrous, meaning he uses both his hands simultaneously to paint.
The 38-year-old actor tells us, “For me, art and spirituality are parallel sides of the same road. I can paint and write with both hands. I can do different things at the same time using both of my hands.”
A source says that Grover chooses varied concepts for his artworks — “right from capturing the big concepts of universe, infinity, divinity, spirituality and dimensions, and uses colour palettes, black pen and ink art, brushes and spray paints.” Interestingly, the actor is also set to soon display his artwork at a public exhibition, which has been rescheduled due to coronavirus outbreak.
Confirming the same, he says, “Yes, it would be the first time I’ll exhibit my art. I’m not nervous, but very excited. I got a lot of positive feedback from buyers, collectors and the gallery, along with people from art fraternity.” He further shares that it was none other than his wife, actor Bipasha (Basu Singh Grover) who pushed him. “It’s all because of her. On one of the drawings I had made long back, she had remarked ‘it’s interesting’ and that I must do some more, so I did. If that encouragement hadn’t come my way, and she hadn’t been the angel that she is, maybe life would have taken a different route. Right now, we are here,” he ends.
