What’s Huma Qureshi riding a bike for?
Actor Huma Qureshi’s biker avatar has got her fans all excited. One wonders if she has taken it up as a personal interest or as part of her training for a film.
On Sunday, the actor shared some pictures and a video in which she looks confident riding a red Royal Enfield in an all-black look, and a helmet and arm sleeves in place. “Happy Sunday! Life is about learning new things everyday... and getting over your fear #bikergirl,” Qureshi wrote alongside the video.
“Zen and the art of motorbiking,” she wrote in another post, wrapping up her biker diaries with a picture with two women who taught her “how to ride”.
Is this is a part of the actor’s prep for her Tamil movie, Valimai, which is likely to feature some high-octane action sequences? The mystery adventure drama features Ajith in the lead, who plays a cop in the film and was recently involved in a minor bike accident during the shoot.
“Huma has been taking bike riding lessons and it would be interesting to see if it’s for her role in Valimai. She may just surprise the audiences with some riding sequences. Huma is excited to share the screen with Ajith, making sure to get into the skin of character and give her all,” a source says.
Qureshi’s industry friends lauded her for giving bike riding a shot. Actor Sonakshi Sinha, who made heads turn when she rode a bike to a recording studio earlier this year, wrote, “Yaaaaaaaasssss now you ride with ussss”, and Qureshi replied, “Yessss girl .. you were the main inspiration.”
She was also encouraged by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, actor Radhika Apte and VJ-chef Maria Goretti, apart from her fans.
