#Corona: Shah Rukh’s filmi appeal to people

-

Dispersing information in an appealing way can make it so much more useful. And keeping up with this idea was actor Shah Rukh Khan, who recently came out with a fun and informative video using scenes from his films, to create awareness about coronavirus.

“I am hoping and assuming that you all are at home,” he started by saying in the video, “which is the prudent place to be in times of the coronavirus, right now. I feel there are a lot of good things to do if you are at home. It’s an opportunity to be with your loved and dear ones, be close to them… not this close, a couple of metres apart. Take on a hobby you wanted to do, but never found the time...”

Khan further outlined the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic. He confessed, “It is taking over our minds, hearts, bodies of course, slowly creeping into our souls. There’s information, misinformation… It’s confusing us all. My mother used to say, ‘Whenever you are confused, go back to the basics’.”

Right from Loveria in his 1992-hit Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman to hits such as Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Chalte Chalte (2003) and Raees (2017), SRK compiled snippets from his popular songs and film scenes to share some tips to defeat coronavirus. He talked about social distancing, sanitising your environment, and much more, in an easy way.

Highlighting the kind of masks people should not buy — the ones he wore in Baazigar (1993) and Badshah (1999), which either don’t cover your mouth or cover the whole face — the video by the actor had some laugh-out-loud moments as well.
