The United Kingdom, also referred as the Queen’s land, has many beautiful sights. Whether one is travelling with family or friends, there are plenty of options for everyone to enjoy in this beautiful land. And here are some recommendations to plan a short memorable trip to UK.

To begin with, book a direct flight if possible, as it will ensure that you arrive here in somewhat tired stated instead of being completely drained. Ideally, choose a flight into Gatwick or Heathrow as it is much more comfortable getting around from these two airports. If you plan on driving, rent a car but for that sort out your international license and insurance in advance. Alternatively, public transport in the UK is brilliant, so feel free to use that. If you can travel during the UK’s spring– summer season, you’ll have the privilege of longer days.

For a short trip it’ll be suitable to stay somewhere in London. London is incredibly well connected and it will ensure you get the most out of your time. Pick a hotel that’s near one of the train stations as it will make getting around a lot easier in the next few days. You’ll be able to find something to suit every budget.

Pick up a pay-as-you-go SIM card at the airport, and you are good to go. Rest up, grab a good dinner and get ready to see London. There is so much to explore in this city and you can either take the Tube or get a cab or radio taxi. Your debit or credit card will work just fine on the Tube. For the very initial day of your trip we recommend sites such as Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and the London Eye or Oxford and Bond Streets along with a trip to Buckingham Palace, as well as Kensington to enjoy a nice lunch. There is also Harrods, Natural History Museum,

THE BRITISH CAPITAL BOASTS OF AWEINSPIRING RELICS OF BY-GONE ERA AND OFFERS PLENTY OF EXPERIENCES FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE!

Hyde Park – great to wander around and Tower Bridge, with plenty of places to enjoy a nice dinner nearby. You can pick and mix a few of these options to plan an itinerary.

If you have children on the trip, we suggest taking them to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Thorpe Park or Legoland. If it’s just the adults, you could venture to Oxford for some sightseeing and head on to Bicester from there for some excellent outlet shopbell ping. In Oxford, the Ashmolean Museum and Magdalen College are must-see. You can also choose between Bath and the Lake District as both are great in their own way.

Head back into London for your final hurrah. Enjoy an excellent relaxing breakfast at a brunch spot near your hotel. Get ready to bid adieu and start planning your next trip.
