Irritability: If you’re dealing with a busy schedule and skipping meals, your blood sugar and your mood can take a dip. The researchers at University of Guelph have revealed that the sudden drop in glucose we experience when we are hungry can impact our mood.
Difficulty in conceiving: Calorie restriction is one of the biggest diet mistakes and it can lead to health issues like the inability to get pregnant. NCBI researchers found that insufficient calorie in your diet can have an adverse impact on reproductive functioning.
Constipation: Eating too few calories or undereating can be a cause for constipation as very little food will result in less waste in your digestive tract. You must consume food rich in fibre as it helps to relieve constipation.
Poor mental health: The relationship between diet and mental health is complex. Studies have even found that healthy diets can help with symptoms of depression and anxiety. And unhealthy diets can lead to increased mental health problems.
