Azure Hospitality — which has under its banner, some of the most iconic brands of the city such as Sly Granny, Mamagoto, Foxtrot and Dhaba — has now launched a cloud kitchen brand, Jhoom. The idea behind it is to create a brand that celebrates the traditional and regional cuisines of India, but made specifically for home delivery. The brand brings best of India’s eclectic dishes to people’s homes. Jhoom also aims to bring the storytelling angle usually found in restaurants, into homes.
Signature dishes on the menu include the classic Papdi Chaat served with guacamole instead of the usual condiments. And if you love Dilli ki chaat, then there is Dilli ka Matra Kulcha for you.
For the main course, Deconstructed Daal Moradabadi brings forth one of India’s finest lentil preparations in a fun, new avatar. It’s a classic example of the influence of Rajasthani cuisine in Mughal kitchens. The Jhoom version comes with Tadka Moong Dal, Moong Dal Soup, Ghee Jeera Rice and various toppings.
For meat lovers, there’s Jhoom Mutton Raan, Goan Chicken Cafreal and Goan Fish Curry. Another unmissable signature dish is Tandoori Bacon wrapped jumbo prawns. The sweetness of prawns is perfectly complemented by the saltiness of bacon.
Their serviceable area in the launch phase is Gurugram, with plans to expand towards Delhi and the rest of NCR.
