After a successful run for five smashing seasons, one of India’s most beloved dance shows, Dance+, is back with yet another energy-packed season. What’s making the sixth season extra special for fans is that it has created history by becoming the first popular dancing reality show to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar before television. Three Captains will fight it out with an army of talent as the Super Judge decides who takes home the coveted trophy. Gracing the stage as guest judges this season will be The God of Dance Prabhu Deva, singing sensation Badshah, Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, actors Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, Arjun Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty among many others. Remo D’Souza brings the show back this time on Disney+ Hotstar first before television
D’Souza is an audience favourite, a dancing champion and the most adored mentor in town. Back for the Dance+ Season 6, he will keep a close eye on all the contestants and judges, who are his dance protégés, for their mentorship skills.
Shakti Mohan and Punit J Pathak return as Captain; Salman Y Khan joins Dance+ for the first time
Choreographer and the queen of contemporary, Mohan, returns as the Captain on Dance+ Season 6 after skipping the last season. Joining her is Captain Cool and three-time winner, Punit J Pathak. Dialling up the heat on the dance floor this season is Salman Y Khan as a Captain and a strong contender for the winning trophy. . He is a close friend of Mohan and Pathak as well. The three Captains started their journeys in a dance reality show in the shadow of D’Souza.
Stunning talent from across the country
Dance+ is known to be a competitive reality dance show ever since its first season in 2015. With contestants like Romsha Singh, PS2, N House Crew, Ajay and Sara, Hot Indians Crew and many others, hand-picked after intense rounds of auditions, the stakes are set to raise.
Raghav Juyal returns as host
Dance+ is incomplete without the antics of the host of the show Raghav Juyal and his innocent yet funny presence. Not only has he made a special place in the hearts of many with his dancing prowess, he garnered a huge fan following for his impeccable hosting style as well. He will be on his quest to entertain the viewers with his jokes and woo the love of his life, Mohan.
It’s all about SCAM — the third eye, judging every move
This season will bring the show’s biggest upgrade yet, the Super Cam. SCAM, a bio-mechanic integrated camera, will be decoding every move of the contestants on stage. SCAM cam analyses your dance moves accurately. This gives an insight into every act, and doesn’t just help the judges decide but the audiences as well by giving relatable analogies.
