#AryanCase: Shah Rukh’s lookalikes lose jobs
The ongoing drug case against actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is having a ripple effect on SRK’s lookalikes, as they are losing jobs.
Aryan was nabbed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a case related to the seizure of drugs following a raid at a party on a cruise ship on October 2. He continues to be in judicial custody.
Now, SRK’s lookalike Raju Rahikwar has shared that the two events he had lined up for this month have been cancelled, said a Bollywood Hungama report. Rahikwar has claimed the organisers said people aren’t comfortable with SRK’s current image. He is hoping for things to sort out soon for the actor, as his livelihood depends on it. Another of SRK’s lookalike, Haider Maqbool was also scheduled to make appearances at a couple of events this month. But they were put on hold after the news of the drug case.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is reportedly struggling with sleepless nights over the delay in his son’s bail. According to a report by India Today, the actor and his wife, Gauri Khan, are devastated as they did not expect that Aryan would be under custody for so long. A source said that SRK is maintaining contact with NCB officials on his son’s wellbeing. “Gauri and SRK make multiple calls throughout the day to check on his health. There is no direct access to Aryan, but information on his well-being is conveyed to the family. There was even a request made to send Aryan home-cooked meals and his personal belongings,” added the insider.
