Australia to remain closed for tourists

While most countries ease their travel restrictions, Australia will remain closed for international travellers till 2022. According to the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, the country should reach its vaccination benchmark soon and then it will begin to open gradually. The prime focus is on returning skilled migrants and students. He has already outlined plans that will allow vaccinated citizens, and permanent residents to fly abroad from November onwards.
