Meta’s first Asia investment is in mental health startup

Four months after its beta launch, the Singapore and Jakarta-based startup, Ami, has closed a $3 million seed round from investors, including Meta’s New Product Experimentation (NPE) team. This marks Meta’s first early-stage startup investment in the AsiaPacific region. Founded in January, Ami aims to make mental healthcare more accessible for employees in Asia. May is also observed as Mental Health Awareness Month.
