Oral vaccine may decrease Covid severity

A recent study has claimed that the new oral Covid-19 vaccine can reduce the severity of the disease, along with the transmission rate. The research team was led by Stephanie N Langel, medical instructor in the Department of Surgery at Duke University, USA. “There would be a substantial benefit to developing vaccines that not only protect against disease but also reduce transmission to unvaccinated people,” said Langel in a statement.
