Apple AirTag bug sending false alarms to iPhone users

iPhone users are getting phantom alerts on their device that an AirTag is tracking their location, even when there is no AirTag in the vicinity, the Wall Street Journal reported. The alerts are generally occurring during the night causing further inconvenience for users. These alarms were part of Apple’s new suite of anti-stalking features released recently after AirTags gained a notorious reputation for being used as a stalking device.
