Prioritising women’s wellness
There’s no limit to what women can achieve — this thought echoed incessantly at FICCI Ladies Organisation’s conclave aimed at proactive and holistic well-being of women. In his speech, chief guest Anurag Thakur, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports, said, “Empowering women and amplifying their voices is a priority... From sarpanchs to outstanding athletes, business leaders, entrepreneurs and technocrats — their role in governance, public service, sports, corporate leadership and social entrepreneurship is being celebrated in India like never before!”
Echoing similar thoughts, guest of honour, actor- director, Revathy Asha Kelunni, shared, “Every single woman can inspire you. Holding hands, sharing your experience, opening your heart to be able to let other women to also grow, to not feel threatened is what the conclave is about!”
