KAVITA KAUSHIK SLAMS TROLL FOR CALLING HER UGLY
The actor, who called out a social media user for body-shaming her, asserts ‘I’m beautiful!’
Recently, actor Kavita Kaushik lashed out at a troll who called her ugly. She tweeted, “42!!! And I’m beautiful! Aur hot itni hu ki uffff!!! Sorry aapko aapke gharwaale paalne mei daal ke bhool gaye! Big hug to you , im sure you are nice just unloved (sic).”
While talking to us, the 42year-old shares if hate comments like these affect her.
“These things used to offend me earlier. In between all the love, if I saw one hateful remark, I would become agitated. But then I did Bigg Boss Season 14 and after that, I realised you can’t really do anything about it. They (trolls) will see things from a certain point of view that’s suitable for them,” she says.
Explaining why people go to lengths to comment hurtful things, Kaushik says, “I very well understand that sometimes people write such things because they are seeking attention and a reply from me.”
“Social media is one place where the most unsuccessful people are bashing successful people,” adds Kaushik.
But even when somebody does troll her, Kaushik, who was popular as Chandramukhi
Chautala from the sitcom does not think twice before giving them a taste of their own medicine.
“There are days when I am not my best self, maybe because I’m going through something. That’s when I reply to such messages and filter such people. I am aware that these things would not give out any results, but at least someone is getting entertained (laughs),” she concludes.
