It feels fantastic: Amar and Hetal on celebrating 25 years of marriage 25
Look who’s celebrating a 25-year milestone with HT City! Amar and Hetal Upadhyay reflect on their bond and express their excitement of making it a silver jubilee
Actor Amar Upadhyay and his wife, activist Hetal Upadhyay clocked 25 years of their marriage on March 5. To celebrate the milestone, the pair jetted off to Goa. “Got about three days off from my schedule and I am making the most of it,” Amar tells us.
Offering a peek into their vacay, Hetal says, “Earlier, I thought that we were just going to Goa to have fun. But when we came here, I saw that Amar had planned so many cute little surprises, including a dinner by the sea.”
Ask the couple how they feel about celebrating their silver jubilee and the Doree (2023) actor answers, “The number is looking good, but it just doesn’t feel like it. Aisa lag raha hai 6-7 saal hi huye hain. It feels fantastic to be married to her. It was the best 25 years of my life and [there are] many more to come.”
Echoing her partner’s thoughts, Hetal adds, “Life has been very smooth and balanced with him. I always tell my family, if you want to see how to treat women, learn from Amar. I always admire him. My son is also like him, very respectful. He has always been the most supportive husband.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 1999 and have two children, are glad that they share the occasion with HT City, which is also turning 25. “It feels very special to be completing the milestone with HT City. Truly feels fantastic. 25 is just a number, and you guys will soon have a golden jubilee also. Keep doing the good work. HT City is a part of our life now and we are hooked to it. Cheers to many more successful years ahead,” the actor wraps up.
