In today’s fast-paced world, the bond between humans and their pets has never been more special. Pets are not just animals; they are companions, family members, and sources of unconditional love and support. Recognising this integral relationship, Zigly Foundation advocates for the introduction of pet-friendly policies across various community spaces, including Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), cafes, gyms, salons and corporate set-ups. Such policies not only foster a more inclusive society but are also beneficial for both

establishments and pet owners.

RWAs play a pivotal role in setting community standards. By adopting pet-friendly policies, they can enhance the quality of life of pet parents and ensure that their pets have access to outdoor spaces and parks for exercise and socialisation. Initiatives such as designated pet areas, pet meet-ups and waste disposal solutions can create a harmonious living environment for all.

Cafe culture has also evolved, with more individuals seeking spaces that cater to

their lifestyles. Cafes can introduce pet-friendly outdoor seating, offer pet menus and host pet-themed events. These initiatives have the potential to attract a wider clientele and create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where people and their pets can relax and socialise. The Capital has a vibrant scene for pet-friendly cafes including Barks and Meows, Greenr Cafe, Throttle Shrottle Moto, The Palette, Cafe Dori, Diggin and Quick Brown Fox Coffee Roasters.

Pet-friendly gyms can also cater to the growing demographic of healthconscious
