Actor-dancer Mohena Kumari Singh recently welcomed her daughter into the world and she couldn’t be happier. Confirming the news of her second child’s birth to us exclusively, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor says: “I really wanted a girl the second time and so did Suyesh (Rawat, husband and politician-businessman). Everyone kept telling me that I would have another boy. I’m so happy that I have both now, I am feeling complete as a mother and a family.”
Singh says her daughter, who was born on March 31, has brought contentment to their family. “I asked God to give me a daughter and it happened. It was a great feeling of contentment; I am at peace now,” she tells us.
As for why the 35-year-old and her husband did not make an official announcement, she says she has been busy “living my life authentically”. “I am in my own world now; I don’t think about social media. I just live my life. If people get to know, they get to know. I don’t think, ‘Okay, now I have to show the photo’,” Singh reveals.
The couple’s first child, their son Ayaan, will celebrate his second birthday on April 15. “Everything is quite fresh; I am comparing her birth to [Ayaan’s]. With my first child, I did everything right. I did yoga and made sure that I didn’t eat outside at all; I was so satvik. I was stressed about doing this and not doing that,” she says. “With my second pregnancy, I let everything happen naturally. I didn’t stress and made sure that I enjoyed this time. It was a relaxed pregnancy,” she wraps up.
