t’s been over five years since actors Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary got married and recent buzz suggested that the couple was set to welcome their first child. However, when we reached out the duo for official confirmation, they dismissed the reports as baseless rumours.
“Well, it is not at all true. We are not pregnant,” Chaudhary says. The actor adds, “I don’t know how these rumours started; I find them amusing. I wondered how the world knew about my pregnancy before I did. People find something to write about and things just escalate. So, there is no point reacting to (such news). I just read the reports and laughed.” Speculation around the pregnancy swirled after Narula seemingly dropped a hint about the arrival of his first child with Chaudhary on comedian Bharti Singh and her husband, producer Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s LOL Podcast.
Singh playfully asked Narula, “When is Golla coming?” (referring to her son with Limbachiyaa) to the Bombers (2019) actor replied, “Very soon.”
Narula’s cheeky response was followed by several congratulatory messages from fans. However, in a chat with us, the actor maintains: “It’s not true. And when it happens, we won’t hide the news from anybody.”
Chaudhary adds that her husband’s statement was somewhat misinterpreted. “He meant that we are trying to have a baby, which is true. We are trying to have a baby, and want to expand our family; but that doesn’t mean that we are pregnant,” says the actor, who was spotted at actor Arti Singh’s prewedding festivities earlier this week.
