Prime Minister inaugurates Textiles India 2017 exhibition in Gandhinagar
R. K. Pachnanda, IPS took charge as the new Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Krishna Chaudhary, DG who retired on superannuation, handed over the customary baton to Pachnanda in a function held at the Force HQ at CGO Complex. Pachnanda is the 29 Chief of the ITBP. Pachnanda is a 1983 batch Indian Police Service officer of the West Bengal cadre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Textiles India 2017 was held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Addressing the gathering at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, the PM said that based on Make in India, the textile industry is being infused with the mantras of ‘skill, scale, speed’ and ‘zero-defect, zero-effect’. The PM earlier inaugurated the Textiles India exhibition organised at Helipad Ground, Gandhinagar.
