Prime Min­is­ter in­au­gu­rates Tex­tiles In­dia 2017 ex­hi­bi­tion in Gand­hi­na­gar

R. K. Pach­nanda, IPS took charge as the new Di­rec­tor Gen­eral of Indo-Ti­betan Bor­der Po­lice (ITBP). Krishna Chaud­hary, DG who re­tired on su­per­an­nu­a­tion, handed over the cus­tom­ary ba­ton to Pach­nanda in a func­tion held at the Force HQ at CGO Com­plex. Pach­nanda is the 29 Chief of the ITBP. Pach­nanda is a 1983 batch In­dian Po­lice Ser­vice of­fi­cer of the West Ben­gal cadre. Prime Min­is­ter Naren­dra Modi in­au­gu­rated Tex­tiles In­dia 2017 was held at Gand­hi­na­gar, Gujarat. Ad­dress­ing the gath­er­ing at Ma­hatma Mandir, Gand­hi­na­gar, the PM said that based on Make in In­dia, the tex­tile in­dus­try is be­ing in­fused with the mantras of ‘skill, scale, speed’ and ‘zero-de­fect, zero-ef­fect’. The PM ear­lier in­au­gu­rated the Tex­tiles In­dia ex­hi­bi­tion or­gan­ised at He­li­pad Ground, Gand­hi­na­gar.
