NTPC and Archery Association of India announce three-year partnership
NTPC Limited and Archery Association of India have announced a landmark three-year partnership that includes the title rights across all National Archery Championships (NACs), National Ranking Archery Tournaments (NRATs) and exclusive right to provide kits/ apparels to Indian Archery team for international participation. A three-year agreement was signed between Dr SY Quraishi, Administrator of the AAI and Former Chief Election Commissioner, and MSD Bhattamishra, Executive Director (CSR/R&R/SD/LA), NTPC at the NTPC Engineering Office, Noida. Now onwards, all national archery championships and national ranking archery tournaments will be named after NTPC for three years. Union MoS (IC) for Power, New and Renewable Energy RK Singh laid down the foundation stone for 400/220/132 kV POWERGRID Chandauti substation, which will supply power from Nabinagar power station and supply to districts of Gaya, Rohtas and Aurangabad. This Rs 240-crore substation will improve the power position of Bihar in line with the Government of India’s mission ‘24x7 Power For All’. It will also lead to overall development and economic progress of the state, and through the POWERGRID 765 kV Gaya substation, shall strengthen the state grid connectivity with the national grid.
