NTPC and Archery As­so­ci­a­tion of In­dia an­nounce three-year part­ner­ship

NTPC Lim­ited and Archery As­so­ci­a­tion of In­dia have an­nounced a landmark three-year part­ner­ship that in­cludes the ti­tle rights across all Na­tional Archery Cham­pi­onships (NACs), Na­tional Rank­ing Archery Tour­na­ments (NRATs) and exclusive right to pro­vide kits/ ap­par­els to In­dian Archery team for in­ter­na­tional par­tic­i­pa­tion. A three-year agree­ment was signed be­tween Dr SY Qu­raishi, Ad­min­is­tra­tor of the AAI and For­mer Chief Elec­tion Com­mis­sioner, and MSD Bhat­tamishra, Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor (CSR/R&R/SD/LA), NTPC at the NTPC En­gi­neer­ing Of­fice, Noida. Now on­wards, all na­tional archery cham­pi­onships and na­tional rank­ing archery tour­na­ments will be named after NTPC for three years. Union MoS (IC) for Power, New and Re­new­able En­ergy RK Singh laid down the foun­da­tion stone for 400/220/132 kV POW­ERGRID Chan­dauti sub­sta­tion, which will sup­ply power from Nabi­na­gar power sta­tion and sup­ply to dis­tricts of Gaya, Ro­htas and Au­rangabad. This Rs 240-crore sub­sta­tion will im­prove the power po­si­tion of Bi­har in line with the Govern­ment of In­dia’s mis­sion ‘24x7 Power For All’. It will also lead to over­all de­vel­op­ment and eco­nomic progress of the state, and through the POW­ERGRID 765 kV Gaya sub­sta­tion, shall strengthen the state grid con­nec­tiv­ity with the na­tional grid.
