A special lecture on 'Positive attitude and decisionmaking' was organised by the society for advancement of academic sports and co- curricular activities at the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities in Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on Thursday.

Narinder Singh Kapoor, former professor of journalism and mass communication, Punjabi University, Patiala, was here to deliver a lecture.

Addressing a gathering of students and faculty members, Kapoor highlighted various

aspects of positive attitude and elaborated how a positive attitude played an important role in the decision-making process. He said the world comprised two kinds of people, those with a positive attitude and those with a negative attitude.

" People with positive attitude are the problem-solvers while those with negative attitude are problem-creators," he said.

"A person's attitude has nothing to do with his or her education or financial status,” he added.
