T-20 foot­ball cham­pi­onship at PAU ground con­cludes

A two-day T-20 foot­ball com­pe­ti­tion, Pepsi: Change the Game, con­cluded at the foot­ball grounds of Pun­jab Agri­cul­tural Univer­sity on Sun­day. From a to­tal of 64 teams that par­tic­i­pated, around 32 teams have been short listed to move to the sec­ond round of the game, which would take place at the MBD mall.

The foot­ball play­ers who came from dif­fer­ent vil­lages and cities of Pun­jab such as Moga, Khanna, Phagwara, Ja­graon, Sah­newal, Jalandhar and many other.

It is per­ti­nent to men­tion that the reg­is­tra­tion for the foot­ball teams was done free of cost at PAU. The com­pany or­gan­is­ers said that in this for­mat of the game seven play­ers in the team from which five play­ers play on the field while two re­main in the re­serve cat­e­gory.

The team that qual­i­fies will par­tic­i­pate in the grand­fi­nale at New Delhi. The fi­nale win­ners will be able to meet a star foot­baller and the team will play the foot­ball match against the In­dian cricket team.
