T-20 football championship at PAU ground concludes
A two-day T-20 football competition, Pepsi: Change the Game, concluded at the football grounds of Punjab Agricultural University on Sunday. From a total of 64 teams that participated, around 32 teams have been short listed to move to the second round of the game, which would take place at the MBD mall.
The football players who came from different villages and cities of Punjab such as Moga, Khanna, Phagwara, Jagraon, Sahnewal, Jalandhar and many other.
It is pertinent to mention that the registration for the football teams was done free of cost at PAU. The company organisers said that in this format of the game seven players in the team from which five players play on the field while two remain in the reserve category.
The team that qualifies will participate in the grandfinale at New Delhi. The finale winners will be able to meet a star footballer and the team will play the football match against the Indian cricket team.
