Engg col­lege holds job fair

Lud­hi­ana Col­lege of Engi­neer­ing and Tech­nol­ogy (LCET) or­gan­ised a na­tional job fair on Wed­nes­day un­der the aegis of the col­lege’s train­ing and place­ment (T&P) cell.

Dur­ing the fair, a num­ber of com­pa­nies con­ducted their se­lec­tion process.

Th­ese com­pa­nies in­clude Pic N Frames Tech­nolo­gies, Bhar­tia Axa, 01 Syn­ergy, Arena An­i­ma­tion, HCL Mo­hali, Gtech Soft­wares, Jetk­ing In­fo­train Lim­ited, the Mer­it­na­tion, New Swan Auto Pri­vate Lim­ited, Parasig­nals, Rock­man In­dus­tries Lim­ited, Enest, Dkop Labs Pri­vate Lim­ited, Net­max Tech­nolo­gies Pri­vate Lim­ited and Gur­dev Fin­cap Pri­vate Lim­ited.

The col­lege has been or­gan­is­ing the event ev­ery year since 2007 for the re­cruit­ment of en­gi­neers and man­agers.

The fair pro­vides a com­mon plat­form for in­dus­trial re­cruit­ment of en­gi­neers and man­age­ment pro­fes­sion­als and fa­cil­i­tates in­dus­try- in­sti­tute in­ter­ac­tion.

The free on- the- spot reg­is­tra­tion con­tin­ued till 11am, and a large num­ber of el­i­gi­ble stu­dents from MBA, BBA, BCA and BTech fi­nal yea r ( e l e c t ron­ics and com­mu­ni­ca­tion, com­puter sci­ence, in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy, me­chan­i­cal engi­neer­ing), reg­is­tered them­selves for the re­cruit­ment process of var­i­ous com­pa­nies on the LCET cam­pus.

The rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the in­dus­try ap­pre­ci­ated the hospi­tal­ity ar­range­ments made by the col­lege and thanked the fac­ulty and staff mem­bers for or­gan­is­ing the job fair. The Place­ment Brochure-2012 of the col­lege was also re­leased on the oc­ca­sion by LCET chair­man Vi­jay Gupta, manag­ing direc­tor Bri­j­pal Sachdeva, direc­tor JS So­hal and prin­ci­pal Pawan Ku­mar.

The brochure con­tains de­tailed in­for­ma­tion about stu­dents of all streams.

The fac­ulty also thanked the of­fi­cials of the var­i­ous com­pa­nies their co-op­er­a­tion and sup­port to make the event a suc­cess.
