Flower vendor duped of
Two miscreants allegedly duped a flower vendor, who had come to bank to deposit Rs 27,000 in his account on Wednesday.
Fortunately, the CCTVS have the footage of the two miscreants, who committed the crime.
The victim has lodged a complaint with the Model Town police in this regard and also handed over the recording of the CCTV to the police. However, no case has been registered as yet, as the police wanted to inquire the matter before filing a case in this regard.
Ravi Mishra, 28, of New Model Town, had gone to the Model Town branch of Punjab National Bank to deposit Rs 27,000 in his account.
As Mishra entered the bank, the accused followed him, came to him and offered to fill a deposit slip for him.
They allegedly sprinkled some sedative on his face and took money from him on the pretext of depositing the money in his account.
