GCW girls shine in BSC-1 exam

Girls of Gov­ern­ment Col­lege for Women at­tained the first three po­si­tions in Lud­hi­ana district in the BSC (1) ex­am­i­na­tions, the re­sults of which were de­clared by Pan­jab Univer­sity, Chandigarh on Thurs­day.

Ravneet Kaur bagged the first po­si­tion by se­cur­ing 89.5% marks, Navpreet Kaur came sec­ond with 89.2% and Aman­deep Kaur bagged the third po­si­tion with 87.9% marks.

Col­lege prin­ci­pal Gurminder Kaur con­grat­u­lated the stu­dents and heads of the de­part­ments in the sci­ence stream. All the three girls are hostellers THE THREE GIRL STU­DENTS ARE HOSTELLERS AND SWEAR BY REG­U­LAR STUD­IES FOR SUC­CESS and swear by reg­u­lar stud­ies for suc­cess.

Mean­while, Gur­preet Kaur of Guru Nanak Girls Col­lege, Model Town, here bagged first po­si­tion in the col­lege in BSC (1) ex­am­i­na­tions, the re­sults of which were de­clared by Pan­jab Univer­sity on Thurs­day.

She se­cured 75.7% marks, while Ridhima Ahuja and Jagdeep Kaur se­cured 75.5% and 75% marks, re­spec­tively, and came sec­ond and third in the col­lege.

Prin­ci­pal Dr Cha­ran­jit Ma­hal con­grat­u­lated the staff and stu­dents for their out­stand­ing per­for­mance and wished them good luck to tread the path of suc­cess and glory in fu­ture as well.

Mean­while, stu­dents of Ramgarhia Girls Col­lege ex­celled in BSC com­puter sci­ence (1) ex­am­i­na­tions, the re­sults of which were de­clared by Pan­jab Univer­sity on Thurs­day.

Man­meet Kaur stood first in the col­lege se­cur­ing 547/700 ( 78.14%) marks, Sukh­preet Kaur stood sec­ond in the col­lege se­cur­ing 487/700 (69.57%) marks and Nisha Singh stood third in the col­lege se­cur­ing 422/700 (60.28%) marks.

Col­lege prin­ci­pal Narinder Sandhu, Ran­jodh Singh and S Jag­tar Singh, pres­i­dent and gen­eral sec­re­tary, re­spec­tively, of Ramgarhia Ed­u­ca­tional Coun­cil con­grat­u­lated the fac­ulty and the stu­dents for get­ting good re­sults in the univer­sity ex­am­i­na­tions.
