GCW girls shine in BSC-1 exam
Ravneet Kaur of the college bags first position in Ludhiana district by securing 89.5% marks, Navpreet Kaur comes second with 89.2% and Amandeep Kaur secures third position with 87.9% marks
Girls of Government College for Women attained the first three positions in Ludhiana district in the BSC (1) examinations, the results of which were declared by Panjab University, Chandigarh on Thursday.
Ravneet Kaur bagged the first position by securing 89.5% marks, Navpreet Kaur came second with 89.2% and Amandeep Kaur bagged the third position with 87.9% marks.
College principal Gurminder Kaur congratulated the students and heads of the departments in the science stream. All the three girls are hostellers THE THREE GIRL STUDENTS ARE HOSTELLERS AND SWEAR BY REGULAR STUDIES FOR SUCCESS and swear by regular studies for success.
Meanwhile, Gurpreet Kaur of Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, here bagged first position in the college in BSC (1) examinations, the results of which were declared by Panjab University on Thursday.
She secured 75.7% marks, while Ridhima Ahuja and Jagdeep Kaur secured 75.5% and 75% marks, respectively, and came second and third in the college.
Principal Dr Charanjit Mahal congratulated the staff and students for their outstanding performance and wished them good luck to tread the path of success and glory in future as well.
Meanwhile, students of Ramgarhia Girls College excelled in BSC computer science (1) examinations, the results of which were declared by Panjab University on Thursday.
Manmeet Kaur stood first in the college securing 547/700 ( 78.14%) marks, Sukhpreet Kaur stood second in the college securing 487/700 (69.57%) marks and Nisha Singh stood third in the college securing 422/700 (60.28%) marks.
College principal Narinder Sandhu, Ranjodh Singh and S Jagtar Singh, president and general secretary, respectively, of Ramgarhia Educational Council congratulated the faculty and the students for getting good results in the university examinations.
