G NIMT has cre­ated a niche for it­self in the spheres of Aca­demic, Pro­fes­sional , Cul­tural and Sports. BUIS­NESS SCHOOL RAT­ING: GNIMT has been de­clared Best Busi­ness School with A-1 Grade by AIMA IN busi­ness school Sur­vey in 2009, 2010 and 2011 in Pun­jab, Ra­jasthan, H.P., J&K, Chandigarh UT and Haryana (ex­cept NCR). ACA­DEMICS: GNIMT is known for its aca­demic bril­liance and main­tain­ing the tra­di­tion of ex­cel­lence. We have won, 12 Gold Medals, 9 Sil­ver Medals and 8 Bronze Medals since 2006. PLACE­MENTS: 29 Com­pa­nies vis­ited for Cam­pus Place­ment dur­ing 2010-11. All the 77 stu­dents who opted for place­ment have been placed. The high­est pack­age was Rs. 6,69 lacs for per an­num. Our Ex-stu­dent Chi­rag Bha­tia placed with Mi­crosoft at 12 lacs per an­num. CUL­TURAL: Our Bhangra Team rep­re­sented PTU in In­ter­var­sity Youth Fes­ti­val in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. The Team won one Gold, One Sil­ver and Two Bronze Medals. We also rep­re­sented PTU in Na­tional In­ter­var­sity Youth Fes­ti­val in 2011 and 2012 and won first ever Bronze and Siler Medals re­spec­tively. The team has been named Na­tional Folk Dance Bhangra Team and has re­cently taken part in 15th In­ter­na­tional Mediter­ranean Youth Fes­ti­val 2012 in Turkey. SPORTS: Won Ath­let­ics and over­all Sports Cham­pi­onship (W) thrice in a row and re­tained the tro­phies, Won cy­cling Cham­pion-ship (W) 6 times in a row & re­tained two tro­phies. Won Vol­ley­ball & Sw i mm ing Cham­pi­onship twice in a row & Won Lawn Ten­nis Cham­pi­onship in 2009 AWARDS: De­clared Best In­sti­tute by In­dian So­ci­ety for Tech­ni­cal Ed­u­ca­tion in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 for lead­er­ship and pro­ces­sional ac­tiv­i­ties in Pun­jab, H.P, J&K and Chandigarh\, Awarded Na­tional Achieve­ment Award for Ed­u­ca­tion Ex­cel­lence by In­dian Eco­nomic De­vel­op­ment and Re­search As­so­ci­a­tion (IEDRA), New Delhi, Out­stand­ing Achieve­ment Award for Global Ed­u­ca­tion De­vel­op­ment by the All In­dia Achiev­ers Foun­da­tion, New Delhi on 28 Nov. 2009 and In­ter­na­tional Gold Star Award for ex­cel­lence in Pro­mot­ing Global Friend­ship & Eco­nomic De­vel­op­ment held at Bangkok, Thai­land.
