ITC foundation stone laid at CIPHET
The foundation stone of an international training center (ITC) was laid down on the campus of Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) on Saturday.
The premise is expected to come up at a likely cost of Rs 1.25 crore.
ITC would be having state of the art facilities, including conference hall, multi media center, a guest house for entrepreneurship development programmes.
CIPHET director Dr US Shivhare said ITC would be a unique facility and would help in training of farmers and entrepreneurs coming from across the country and abroad.
Shivhare performed the earth breaking ceremony and laid the STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES, INCLUDING CONFERENCE HALL, MULTI-MEDIA CENTRE, GUEST HOUSE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT EVENTS TO BE PROVIDED AT ITC foundation of the building.
Senior faculty members including project coordinator SK Nanda, project coordinator PR Bhatnagar, head of transfer of technology division Deepak Raj Rai, head agriculture structures and environmental control (AS&EC) SN Jha, senior administrative officer Raj Kumar and officials of the central public works department were also present on the occasion.
