Ever­est school holds an­nual func­tion

Ever­est Pub­lic Se­nior Sec­ondary School, Gi­aspuara in Lud­hi­ana or­gan­ised its an­nual prize distri­bu­tion func­tion on school premises on Tues­day.

District ed­u­ca­tion of­fi­cer ( ele­men­tary) Ran­jeet Singh Malli was the chief guest on the oc­ca­sion. Na­tional awardee Kusum Lata and Ra­jin­der Sharma, pres­i­dent, As­so­ci­a­tion of the Pun­jab School Ed­u­ca­tion Board Af­fil­i­ated Schools, Pun­jab were the guests of hon­our.

The pro­gramme com­menced with “Ganesh Van­dana”. Stu­dents pre­sented a bright and colour­ful pro­gramme on the oc­ca­sion. They per­formed skits based on dis­ci­pline and pre­sented folk dances and folk songs.

Prin­ci­pal Dheeraj Sharma wel­comed the guests.

Malli lauded the re­mark­able progress made by the school in the field of ed­u­ca­tion and sports.

Kusum Lata said they should dwell upon char­ac­ter train­ing and take it as the first and fore­most mis­sion in life.

Ran­jeet Singh Malli and Ra­jin­der Sharma gave away the prizes to the par­tic­i­pants.
