Ahospital in Houston, US, showed a brain surgery to an audience of 14 million people on Twitter. Dr Dong Kim of Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital performed a routine brain tumour re- section on a 21- year- old patient on May 9. Every move of his was documented via tweets, photographs and videos posted on Twitter and Youtube.
