DANCE, MUSIC AND MORE
If you want your child to learn skills like dancing, baking and creating a piece of art then head to The Koala Club. A play school set up in Matunga by Krupali Mongia and Toral Bhanushali, they organise special sessions and summer workshops for the holidays. This year they are introducing Zumba, the Latin- hip hop dance form. Besides shaking a leg, kids can also indulge in activities like making simple musical instruments and learning how to use them by creating rhythm, beats and melody. There are also clock making, brownie baking, papier- mache, canvas art, clay modelling, fun science experiments and interesting general knowledge projects. A Handwriting Improvement programme also helps them to improve their grip and speed of writing.
