There is no denying the fact that one needs to undergo meticulous practice of almost five to six years to become a trained professional, but these rigorous rules are made flexible at Chinoy’s workshop, with a special programme dedicated to fitness. The workshop includes the explanation and demonstration of the typical hand movements and gestures of Kathak, posture and subtle movements of the body as well as storytelling in Kathak style and short dance compositions ( Tukura/ Thoda).
