If your child has caught the shutter bug, enroll them into photography or filmmaking workshops at the Creative Hut. The courses offered here include digital photography, filmmaking, still photography and basic photography. Children are taught to handle large cameras and how to work on different elements involved in making a film or taking photographs. The courses are highly subject- specific, for example the basic photography course includes instruction on lighting and composition along with everything from exposure control and white balance to focus options. The courses also include practical demonstrations on training your eye to paint light onto a subject, selecting the right lens and the use of aperture and shutter speed to control the creative process.
