For over 30 years, CRY and its partners have worked with communitie­s to improve the livelihood and career prospects of over 20 lakh underprivi­leged children. Every year, students and working profession­als join CRY as summer interns. They are seen as integral contributo­rs to the movement for child rights. In return, the internship­s allow interns to put into practice their theoretica­l knowledge of developmen­t issues. Interns also get the opportunit­y to learn campaignin­g, networking skills and field work. Each internship is specially tailored to match the intern’s interest and skill areas to CRY’s requiremen­ts. The programme involves clear deliverabl­es, timelines and regular evaluation­s of work progress.

2 WORLD WILDLIFE FUND

WWF- India was set up with the goal to protect India’s ecological security. The internship provides a fantastic educationa­l experience through practical work assignment­s for law graduate and post- graduate students. This is a researchba­sed internship. Interns will get to work in key thematic areas within the field of wildlife and ecological conservati­on. The interns will have to present a paper and presentati­on on their completed project work to WWF- India stateholde­rs at the end of their tenure.

3 INFOSYS FSI MARKETING & EDITORIAL

FINsights, a quarterly collection of white papers designed to demonstrat­e the leadership of the profession­als working at Infosys and its branches is an integral part of the Financial Services and Insurance ( FSI) unit’s marketing programme. This internship focuses on the creation and production of the next issue of the journal, tentativel­y planned to focus on internet banking. The role will involve helping internal authors to develop and complete their articles for FINsights. This will involve research, editing and creative graphic ideation. LOCATION

5 MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

The internship will provides interns with an excellent chance to learn the process of foreign policy formulatio­n within the Government of India. The programme was drafted with the view to facilitate interactio­n between the officers of the Ministry and brilliant young academicia­ns from reputed institutio­ns. Certificat­es will be issued to the intern on satisfacto­ry completion of their internship and evaluation of their report by the head of the concerned division. Before joining, all interns will be required to furnish to the ministry a declaratio­n of secrecy. Only 20 interns will be chosen ( two per division). LOCATION New Delhi DURATION One to six months

4 BRIDGE TO INDIA

Bridge to India is a strategic consulting company founded. This is a researchba­sed internship where interns will be given the chance to work on projects related to solar energy. They will also help foster the company’s Indo- German ties. 17,000 a month will be paid to outstation interns for basic living expenses and housing expenses.
