Spread over 63 acre, Sharda University (SU), distinguishes itself as the only multi-discipline campus in the national capital region (NCR). Founded in 1996 by Sharda Group of Institution, SU takes pride in being the largest educational group based in Uttar Pradesh, having over 21,000 students and 1,200 faculty members. “We make sure that every student gets a chance to work on their strengths. With students from 56 countries and different parts of India, we focus largely on research, design and innovation,” says Vijay Gupta, Vice chancellor. SU offers B Tech in computer science, mechanical, biotechnology, B Com (Hons) in collaboration with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) university, B Arch, M Arch, MBBS, BDS, B Sc in nursing and multiple courses in social sciences and humanities.
