Founded in 1984 by Harvard alumnus and former MP from Tamil Nadu G Viswanathan, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), has already made its mark in providing quality education in the field of research, technology and management. With over 25,000 students enrolled in 53 undergraduate and graduate programmes, VIT offers B Tech (in all streams), B Arch, BA LLA, B Com, BCA, BBA, and B Sc multimedia and animation besides M Tech, MCA and M Sc in biotechnology. “VIT has been to able to create a student-friendly learning environment through its fully flexible credit system (FFCS) that allows students complete freedom to tailor their own course timetable and choice of professors.
