Eat Right, Stay Bright

-

Diet Saga at Model Town Extension, Ludhiana has given junk food a healthy makeover. The owner, Sania Gupta, who is a dietician by profession, says, “Pizza, burger and special platters that come without any artificial dressings are a big hit on our menu. We only use whole wheat bread and instead of a potato patty, you will find either a lentil or kidney bean ‘tikki’. We prepare soups minus cornflour, and drinks are yoghurt-based with honey as a substitute for sugar.” The restaurant also serves an array of salads, sandwiches, wraps, pastas and brown rice with curries. “Our salads are full of exotic vegetables and make for a wholesome meal. We also do health bowls which have quinoa or couscous paired with either chicken or mushroom or paneer,” says Sania.
