3) In­te­grat­ing the armed forces into theatre com­mands Sta­tus:

Shekatkar com­mit­tee rec­om­mended cre­at­ing three in­te­grated com­mands to re­place the ex­ist­ing 17 sep­a­rate com­mands. Yet to be im­ple­mented

4) De­fence plan­ning to har­monise bud­gets, spend­ing, pri­or­i­ties Sta­tus:

A de­fence plan­ning com­mit­tee was set up un­der NSA Ajit Do­val on April 18. A per­ma­nent body, it in­cludes de­fence and for­eign sec­re­taries, three ser­vice chiefs

5) Re­duc­ing wastage, re­de­ploy­ment of per­son­nel Sta­tus:

The gov­ern­ment is re­de­ploy­ing 57,000 per­son­nel as per the Shekatkar Com­mit­tee direc­tive. To be com­pleted by De­cem­ber 2019
