CRUSH FITNESS

-

The thought of a workout in summers is perhaps cringe-worthy. At a time when it's an effort to even step out of your air-conditioned comfort, it's difficult to motivate yourself to follow the gym routine. Enter Crush Fitness, which promises to take the 'work' out of a work-out and make it an experience worth your while, especially with classes like dance fitness which is both entertaining and beneficial. The brainchild of young fitness enthusiasts Uday Raj Anand, 31 and Bharat Sadana, 29, Crush Fitness was born in 2015. At present, they're conducting classes in multiple fitness studios, gyms, corporate offices and other venues across with more than 100 centres across Delhi, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ambala, Ludhiana and Bangalore. Crush Fitness offers a range of dance-based activities including cardio, pilates, martial arts, yoga and Bhangra. "Our programmes are designed to add value to the clients' lives, be it in the form of a new self-defence technique that they learn or a new form of dance that they pick up," says Anand.

The Beginning Anand was not always into fitness. Just a couple of years before launching Crush Fitness, the double masters degree holder from Oxford University returned to Delhi and to an unhealthy routine.

"It was when I walked into Bharat’s Dance Aerobicz’ class in the gym that my life changed for good. From exercise being an anathema, dance fitness classes with Bharat became an addiction for me," says Anand, whose fitness journey began here.

USP Crush Club is a unique programme blending six different dance forms into one.
