POKE BAR AT GUPPY

-

The city was introduced to a first-of-its-kind food concept in the form of a poke bar late last year and Delhi’s food aficionados can’t stop gushing about the hearty bowls of wonder—poke bowls. Poke Bar by Guppy, one of the most sought-after restaurants for Japanese food under AD Singh’s Olive Bar & Kitchen umbrella, has raised the ‘bar’ yet again with innovative cuisine that celebrates fresh ingredients and international flavours. The light and delicious poke bowls are made with raw marinated fish, tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces and make for a perfect quick summer meal.

We Love What we like about the menu is that the chef has crafted five curated signature poke bowls— Spicy Miso Tofu (a vegetarian option), Andaman Tuna Bowl (our favourite and an absolute must-try), Sisho Salmon, Tsukiji Tuna Bowl and Wasabi Shrimp bowl for those who are not particularly familiar with Japanese ingredients. Or if you are the experimental variety and like your meal to be an experience, we suggest you make your own poke bowl by choosing from a list of proteins, grains, mix-ins, dressings and crunch of your choice. Light and healthy, the poke bowls pack quite the flavour punch, sans grease and heavy sauces. And if you have time for a leisurely meal, pair your bowl with a delightful Japanese cocktail designed by their in-house mixologist—bound to convince you to go for a second glass we say.
