Return of the Margdarshak
After spending the past few years in the wilderness, BJP veteran L.K. Advani is seeing a return to prominence within the party. He was recently onstage sharing the dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah at a meeting of the parliamentary party. Several party leaders have been making a beeline for him in Parliament and there’s even talk that the veteran, who turns 91 this November, may be asked to contest the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat next year.
