Missing Counsel

Congress corporators recently hit out at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) administration for losing a prime plot of land in Jogeshwari, first in the high court and then during a subsequent appeal in the Supreme Court. Among the reasons the BMC cited for losing in the apex court was that its senior counsel was absent in multiple hearings. His name? Congress Rajya Sabha MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
