STAGED TO PERFECTION
Inspired by the character of Chitra from Rabindranath Tagore’s one act play by the same name, Sundays with Chitra and Chaitali is a play that looks at the two characters who have a lot in common and are yet alter-egos of each other. Young and successful, they are dating commitment-phobic men, a reason for their comic angst. If one is outspoken and free-spirited, the other is feminine and meek and each wishes she could be like the other. The play is directed by fusion singer and playwright Isheeta Ganguly with music by Pritam.
