India Today - - COVER STORY - MULTIFIT

Tried every gym in the neighbourhood but to no avail? MultiFit, a Punebased chain has arrived in town and encourages you to ditch the machine and take to functional fitness. “While lifestyles are evolving, fitness techniques haven’t kept up,” explains Vinisha Sujay, 34, director, MultiFit Indiranagar, who tried several fitness options before she resorted to opening her own centre.

MultiFit offers TRX, bootcamps, jungle gyms, calisthenics, spinning, yoga and more, to keep your fitness regimen interesting and effective. There is also a full-fledged Sweat Room where award-winning sportsmen as trainers can teach you off-beat fitness routines such as Brazilian jujitsu, muay Thai, boxing, taekwondo and MMA. “Our trainers set us apart in the crowd of fitness studios,” says Sujay. Also popular is a 12-week transformation programme that includes personal training and dietary assistance, and uses an advanced method instead of the BMI to record your fitness levels.
