Sacrificial Lamb?

THE CONGRESS decision to field Manvendra Singh from Jhalrapatan against Vasundhara Raje is being seen by the Rajputs as akin to ‘sending a sacrificial lamb to its inevitable fate’. Union minister Rajyavardhan Rathore claims it’s symptomatic of how the Congress views the Rajputs. But the buzz in the party is that Singh will be amply rewarded for taking on the CM.
