With more than 250 collaborations with foreign universities and more than 200 faculty and student exchange programmes, O P Jindal Global University (JGU) is an institution with a global vision and flavour. The 80-acre campus that is home to 4,320 students is where dissemination of knowledge happens over interactive sessions both inside and outside the classrooms, and where students are exposed to new learning methods every day. With eight interdisciplinary schools offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in law, business, international affairs, government and public policy, liberal arts and humanities, journalism and communication, banking and finance, and art and architecture, the university has the faculty student ratio of 1:10. Ashish Bharadwaj, Dean,

Jindal School of Banking and Finance, says, “We are the youngest school to be added and started last year. We are going to teach the subject keeping in mind the needs of the industry. Our students will be learning about law as well because studying finance without law makes no sense in today’s world.” The key areas which give JGU an edge are the curriculum, state-of-the-art campus, and faculty with international expertise.

Y S R Murthy, Registrar, O P Jindal Global University, says, “Faculty, research and international collaborations are our USPs.” While all eight schools at JGU have study abroad programmes for the students, dual degree programmes give them an option for cross-listed courses. A liberal arts student therefore can take up law.
