The Thackerays are in no mood to give Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis a walkover in Maharashtra. So, when Fadnavis announced that he will tour 200 of the state’s 288 assembly constituencies beginning August, Shiv Sena decided to go one step further. Aditya Thackeray, son of Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray, announced plans for a similar Jan Ashirwad Yatra, also in August, to reach out to the youth in the state. No Thackeray ever has toured the state so extensively. The Sena is bent on pitting Thackeray Jr as a rival to Fadnavis.
