Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has a new strategy to woo foreign direct investment. After allotting the US embassy 12.5 acres in Hyderabad, a city that hosts 1,030 American companies, he has offered land to other countries interested in a diplomatic enclave in Rangareddy district which skirts central Hyderabad. The UK and Korea have expressed interest. Chanakyapuri, it seems, has become passé.
