MKaranvir Singh has been passionate about since childhood. He could play the drums by the time he was four, and by 13, he had ventured into songwriting. Once he finished college, Karanvir started producing and performing music. By 2015, Kerano (his stage name) had arrived. That was when he launched his debut track, Here I Stand, in collaboration with Polish artist Tom Swoon.

Sound of Music Karanvir believes a career in any field is what you make of it. “I could be a musician who is completely okay with playing small shows and getting paid the bare minimum or I could be an IT professional working a 9 to 5 at a corporate firm. In an unconventional career, you need to understand how to make it lucrative, how to live off your passion.”

USIC IS THE ONLY THING

Creative Streak “I learnt everything myself, whether it was producing or mixing or mastering. When you can rely on your own instincts and skills to create a homegrown method of making music, the process becomes easier and fun,” he says. And it is this homegrown method of making music that Karanvir hopes to teach aspiring musicians at the newage music school, Kamp 1, he has launched in Gurugram.
